The Essential Communicator is my attempt to provide some insight into the field of communications. I work as the Director of Communications for a Canadian utility and have previously worked in politics and journalism.

No, I don’t really know how to use all the bells and whistles on a blog like this so please forgive my technical screwups. Also note that I am only speaking for myself on this blog, not my employer.
